Authors taking the stage at Cove and Kilcreggan Book Festival this year include Sarah Trevelyan (ex wife of Jimmy Boyle) Jim Carruth (the Glasgow Makar) Paul MacAlindin (founder of the Iraqi Youth Orchestra) Jon Snow (Anchor of Channel 4 News) and Ian Rankin (top selling crime writer)

And for the first time there will be food and drink theme at the two-day event in November, which will be held in Cove Burgh Hall for the fifth year.

Chairs include: Sarah Smith - Scotland editor BBC, Rosemary Burnett - former head of Amnesty International Scotland, Cate Devine - Herald Food Writer, Peggy Hughes - Director Dundee Book Festival, and our very own Ruth Wishart - journalist and broadcaster.

Tickets: £6 per session.
