Book Festival 2017

Book Festival programme announced

This year's Book Festival in Cove Burgh Hall is shaping up to be a fascinating weekend, bringing to Cove Burgh Hall authors as various as Sarah Trevelyan (ex wife of Jimmy Boyle), Jim Carruth (the Glasgow Makar), Paul MacAlindin (founder of the Iraqi Youth Orchestra), Jon Snow (Anchor of Channel 4 News), and Ian Rankin (top selling crime writer). And that's just the first day - Saturday 25th November.
Sunday's theme is food and drink and features a number of well-known writers and media personalities who have, in one way or another, entertained and educated us on food/drink topics as diverse as curry, whisky and soup, right through to the work of hunger relief for the world's poorest children.
Don't miss out. You can request tickets for any of the Book Festival events now. Go to the pages for Saturday's and Sunday's programme for details of timings and to put in your reservation.
