Cove and Kilcreggan Film Society's first film of the 2025–26 season is on Thursday, 9 October, and is the acclaimed A Complete Unknown, the 2024 biopic of Bob Dylan’s early musical career, from his start as a folk singer in 1961, to his startling and controversial switch to electric guitars and instruments at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival. Timothée Chalamet, nominated for an Academy Award and many others, plays the young Dylan, with Ed Norton as Pete Seeger and Monica Barbaro as Joan Baez.
Screening is at Cove Burgh Hall; doors open 7.15; lights down 7.45.
The 2025–26 seasonal membership is £30 for eight films or £5 for single admission.
