Ballroom Dancing

The ballroom dancing group started off some ten years ago as complete beginners. Since then the couples have received regular tuition and can now "get round the floor" as they say.

Tutoring is no longer offered, but any new couples wanting to dance who have at least some experience will be made most welcome - there is always someone to help out. Dancing is to taped music and covers the traditional ballroom dances (waltz, quickstep, foxtrot, tango); latin (rhumba, cha-cha, samba); and a range of sequence dances.

Sessions are held in the Main Hall on Wednesday nights (from 19.30) and on Sunday afternoons (from 14.00) and last about an hour and a half. Each session costs £5/couple, payable on the night.

All the monies collected go to Cove Burgh Hall.

So, if you are interested in joining, or enquiring more about the group, come along to a session or contact as under.
